Museums play an important role in preserving the old local cultures of societies, and saffron, as an old and historical spice whose centuries-old history is not hidden from any expert in the world, has a high potential in having its own museum.
The first saffron museum of the country, which was built and launched in the body of the innovative factory of the saffron value chain in Torbat Heydarieh, can contribute to the development of saffron agricultural tourism by collecting and displaying historical and old documents, tools, equipment and facilities of saffron with an age of 100 to 1000 years and also display Saffron cultures in the form of the museum of saffron anthropology, the field of study, research and acquaintance of tourists with the ancient processes of saffron in this context, should play an important and effective role in the field of entering through a cultural lens into the field of Iranian saffron branding at the international level.
By creating synergy and internal cohesion, the OSEC club strives to expand and develop the saffron museum with the addition of the future museum of saffron and agriculture, to play an effective role in the protection of local rituals, culture and ancient traditions of the region of Khorasan, as well as to turn our dear country into a hub of innovation and a platform for development of new technologies in the field of saffron.
