Considering that one of the challenges in the field of saffron in our country is its microbial load, the OSEC club has presented ideas and plans to reduce the microbial load in different stages of planting, growing and harvesting by examining different parts of the saffron production process.

Among these suggestions, the idea of ​​designing a farmer’s cloth has the following criteria;

• It is designed for the use of workers and farmers and has the ability to adjust the size.
• Its coloring should be such that it does not absorb light and at the same time shows unnatural pollution.
• The material of the clothes should not wear out in the washing process.
• Farmer’s clothing should not have a high production cost.
• It must be in accordance with relevant international standards in the field of work clothes.

Undoubtedly, the support of these plans and the widespread use of them by farmers can play an important role in changing the consumer’s view of the quality of the saffron production process.
